Last soccer game of the season, went out for drinks afterwards. I love this city, these people, this weather, and especially my wonderful wife, who is currently sound asleep, and whom I shall presently join.

We were at the LCBO (liquor store) this evening, when a woman stopped me to ask about my scarf (knit for me by Martha as a Christmas present). She was asking me where I had got it (who had made it, really) when she saw Martha, wearing her own (different) hand-knit scarf. Yesterday, we had a few (~20) friends for some old-fashioned gingerbread house-making fun. We had bought four kits, and a bunch of extra candy (partly because the candy that came with the kits was so low-grade, partly because we didn't know the kits came with candy).
